Things to Consider before buying Monitor for Xbox Series X

Resolution

For the best gaming experience, you should get QHD 1440p monitor. The QHD 1440p resolution is the best balance between maintaining performance and visually stunning aesthetics.

Size

If you are getting a 1440p monitor, don’t go beyond, 27 inches and if you are considering 4K resolution, feel free to go larger than 27′. For standard HD resolution, you should stick to a 24-inch display. The resolution and size have a proportional ratio. High resolution on small screens and low resolution on larger screens can lead to a poor gaming experience, so we recommend you try to avoid it.

Refresh Rate

Refresh Rate decides the Frames Per Second. The more the FPS is, the smoother the gameplay. Luckily Xbox Series X supports 120FPS on 1440p resolution using HDMI 2.0. So make sure to get a monitor with a 120hz refresh rate or more.

Panel

The panel of any display is responsible for the image quality, color accuracy. The best you can get is IPS Panel. So if you are getting a good deal with the IPS panel, do consider it.

HDMI 2.1 Port:

HDMI 2.1 is the latest version of HDMI that allows you to enjoy games at 4K resolution with 120FPS. Unfortunately, there are no gaming monitors available with HDMI 2.1 port. But some TVs come with HDMI 2.1 port.
